ShoreMax works at the critical transition zone where water meets land, providing flexible, conforming erosion protection that moves with the shoreline rather than against it. The mat’s flexible construction allows it to maintain full ground contact across uneven and irregular shoreline profiles, giving vegetation the stable, protected environment it needs to establish and anchor the bank from below the waterline to well above it.

Proper anchoring keeps the mat in full contact with the soil surface, prevents edge lifting and movement during storm events, and helps vegetation establish through the mat structure as designed.
